Prosaic lives, through and through, Broken sometimes, at times misused, Come alive just when you Write down poetry, heartfelt and true.
To know that I have myself inspired Words of beauty gives me the acquired Sense of elegance and grace required To feel worthy of what I desired.
Undoubtedly, this is meant for he Who has sweetly tortured me. If with the freedom comes the cease Of his poems, then it shall be.

Heal The Wound, Leave A ScarOh, love. What a slippery thing. Here with the dawn and gone with the sunset. A mysterious fleeting vapor this love is, Disappearing with the will of the wind.Heal The Wound, Leave A Scar
Looking back, I do not regret. No, I do not, for regret is for the foolish. Regret makes hard our hearts, and how can One heal with a heart that won't yield to love?
The hard heart shatters all the easier, Breaks more jaggedly and is repaired With less ease than a soft heart. Love is to be cherished, out hearts to be held close.
Granted, there are those in life who will
Hold our hearts,

Come Away HomeCome away, come away, Come away home. You're surrounded by people, And yet so alone.Come Away Home
Supposed to be free, Yet your mind is bound By the free-falling thoughts That fall without sound,
Without warning or caution. You're so far away. All of this wandering
Keeps peace astray.
Come along, come along, Come along with me. We'll sail the clouds together And then you'll be free.
Surrounded by blue, All is well in the world. No worries can bother One boy and one girl
When they are lost, So los

Devil's FoodLies, so sugary sweet, Full of promises, full of deceit. The candied words slide through your teeth With a certain saccharine sting.Devil's Food
Embraces full of false promise Come to a bitter demise. Shaded eyes, closed windows to The darkened soul within.
The forked tongue in your mouth Led to pleasure, then to pain. The flourescent sunshine of your smile Quickly turned to acid rain.
Breaths of farce exhaled on me, Warming my skin with the fires of Hell. The shivers sent down my spine Were those of empty icy stares.

Emmsie AnneThere you sit, my dear, Seems to me like you’ve always been right here. You can simply tilt your head back and listen To the love song across the room with me. It’s a safe bet, my sweet, That I’ll adore you all the more when we meet. Of course a head of curls like a lion’s mane Will only make you glisten more to me.Emmsie Anne
That’s a fact, you see.
Your name rhymes With several of the lines In this love poem I’m writing. And I hope with each rhyme Your heart can mime The fluttering that mine does all the time. And if you feel the same for me,

Fishing In HeavenFishing in Heaven; got a cloud for a boat.Fishing In Heaven
A star for a lure and my wings for a coat.
I'll look ‘til I find me the best fishing hole.
The tail of a comet I shall use for a pole.
Some angel-hair line, and a pearl for some bait.
St. Peter, I'm coming. I hope I'm not late. My halo will be just the thing for a reel.
Peaceful serenity, that's what I'll feel.
Fishing all day is a right pleasant task.
Fishing in Heaven, what more could I ask?
